Ruth Bodine Lamb, 92, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away, August 27, 2022. She was born September 5, 1929, at Saint-Mary-of-the Woods, Indiana, to Albert H. Bodine and Nelle (Hamilton) Bodine. She attended St. Patrick High School and also Indiana Business College. Ruth worked as a legal secretary for several local law firms and was later a court reporter. After she retired, she provided child care for many children. Ruth was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and served on the Parish Council. Ruth enjoyed needlework and her garden, providing flower arrangements for many years at St Ann’s. She is preceded in death by her husband William R. Lamb Sr., son William R. Lamb Jr. and siblings Bob, David, Max, Joe, John, Kathleen and S. Jane Bodine, SP. Ruth is survived by her children Robert Lamb (Jan), Kathleen Culp (Steve), and Ellen Acquafredda; grandchildren Angela Swint, Adrianne Acquafredda, Matthew Lamb, Danielle Lamb, and Robert Smith; and several great-grandchildren who were the light of her life. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, September 2, 2022, at 12:05p.m. in St. Benedict Catholic Church. Father Fred Pasche will preside. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the church on Friday, from 10:00a.m. until 12:00p.m. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family, to help with a memorial bench for Ruth.
